Heavy D's Blog - 3/26/2010
Howdy Saints and Sinners! We certainly started out 2010 on a serious bang on March 13th with "March Mayhem!" It was quite a rush seeing the Stevens Fire Hall filled to the gills with ACW hardcore fans! That's how we'd like to see every show, and we appreciate everyone who came out in such soggy weather to support all of us!
If you thought the March show was something special, you haven't seen anything yet! We are presenting "Bomb Threat 3" on April 24th and several action-packed feuds are just hitting their stride as we prepare ourselves for the big May 22th Anniversary Show! Our Anniversary Show is like our own WrestleMania, and everyone in the ACW locker room is gunning for each other to earn a spot on that big show!
It seems like our ACW World Heavyweight Champion Twisted Tate has his hands full with former champ Simply Sexy Scotty Jeffreys and his entire Old School Stable. Old School has gained quite the momentum as Ed House and new member High Voltage are the current tag champs, and Pretty Fly is the ACW Welterweight Champ! Shouldn't that belt be referred to now as the "Fly" Weight Championship!
Looks like the feud between Magus and Hayne is officially over, as Magus prepares to face Alan Cross w/Ashley Nicely in April, while Hayne will take on the flamboyantly-dressed Fabulous Fred Flash. However, I think that those issues between Magus and Hayne will boil over again in the near future.
Congratulations to Kitt in becoming ACW's first Tri-State Champion, but he has a laundry list of competitors that want that belt in Serious Business Andy Header, CM Serenyi, G-Raver, and who knows, Heavy D himself!
Speaking of yours truly, I had a good match with former ACW tag team champ Jason Havok. It went to a double-countout because he simply wouldn't stay in the ring long enough. Now in April I'll face his tag team partner Chase Helms, and it'll be a challenge facing this young high-flyer. Hopefully I can get him to stand still long enough to deliver some "Heavy" station!
It wasn't quite "chestnuts roasting over an open fire" in March, but more like Louis G. Rich's "nuts" as ECW original Rockin Rebel gave Rich a nasty fireball to the nether region! Rebel, who is coming off of knee surgery, will put that leg to the test against Big Gun Mac Robo in a "Last Man Standing" match in April, and if Robo happens to gain the victory, he'll get his wish in joining Old School.
We got a lot of great matches coming in April, and like I said, it is all leading up to ACW's granddaddy of them all, the May Anniversary Show! We will have tickets available at the April show for the Anniversary Show, so get them before they go out for sale to the public.
Also, ACW will go on the road this summer to Phoenixville on Saturday night, August 21st! We won't be in Stevens that month, so if you want to come support your favorite ACW superstars in August, make the drive down to Phoenixville! There will be more information coming up on that huge show!
Until next month, keep checking the web-site and thanks for the support! By the way, BOY BOY RETURNS IN APRIL!
